Join us every September in embracing the spirit of kindness and empowerment as we commemorate this special occasion that echoes the core values of the Junior Leagues across the world. Find the Good Day is not just a date on the calendar; it’s a movement that reflects the timeless spirit of Junior Leagues – a legacy of kindness, empowerment, and community transformation. Together, we aim to make a difference by embracing the power of unity, positive change, and finding the good.

CELEBRATE WITH US

Junior League of Johnson City invites you to celebrate Find The Good Day with us by supporting one of our completed signature projects from 2020. We collaborated with the Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians to create the Caring Cabinets Network. The goal of the Caring Cabinets Network is to meet an unspoken and unmet need to provide essential household supplies to disadvantaged families, particularly women and children. With the support of local volunteers, we created a network of Caring Cabinets across the community to provide free essential household supplies, including feminine hygiene products. According to census data nearly 20% of our neighbors live below the poverty line. We encourage you to not only Find The Good but also be the good and help us by collecting new hygiene and cleaning items to stock the Caring Cabinets around Johnson City  and Gray. You can drop off items at our tent at Meet the Mountains Festival August 9-10 or reach out to communityimpact@juniorleagueofjc.org, for assistance in drop off or pick up.

You don’t have to be a Junior League Member to participate in Find the Good Day. This day is for everyone! Use it as an opportunity to focus on the good in your community. While it’s easy to point out the negatives, today is a day to shine a light on the positives around us. It’s time to uplift others and take action to make a difference. Today is a day for good deeds, spreading kindness, and making a positive impact in your community.
