Volunteer Scholarship

The Junior League of Johnson City has established an annual Volunteer Scholarship to support the volunteer and leadership potential of our youth. This one-time award, in the amount of $2000, will be granted annually to one female high school senior who demonstrates outstanding volunteer performance in the community.
To apply for the Volunteer Scholarship you must complete the JLJC-Scholarship-Application-2026
Here are the scholarship requirements:
- Must be a female, graduating senior from a Tri-Cities area school (including Johnson City, Washington/Carter/Unicoi Counties).
- Must be attending a 4-year local university (King, ETSU, Milligan, Tusculum, Kingsport Higher Education Center).
- Demonstrate outstanding extracurricular involvement and volunteer commitment to Tri-Cities community.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Recommendations by teacher, school administrator, or volunteer organization director.
